The Migrant Crisis: A Manifestation of Upside Down World
You're not being invaded, you're getting exactly what you asked for.
Your Life In Upside Down World
We're undergoing a 'migrant crisis', to use the establishment's propaganda term. We are being flooded with foreigners who rape, rob, murder, take up space and money, and are generally disgusting in almost every conceivable way.
If you're opposed to this flood then you've probably described what's happening as an invasion. That's a problem.
Let's follow the typical chain of events: you complain we're being invaded, some conservative politician says they agree the boats should be stopped, yet despite being in power they do nothing. In fact, the boats increase in number. You will complain this politician lied to you, they get replaced by someone new, and then the entire process repeats itself.
Eventually you decide the entire party is corrupt and needs to go. So a new party comes along saying they want to remove the migrants, like in italy with Meloni. They get elected on an anti-migration platform then... proceed to import even more migrants.
You'll claim this new party is corrupt, as you will the next one, and the next one. No matter how many right wing parties come along with anti-migration platforms who proceed to increase migration you'll say "They're not proper right wing parties. Real right wing politics has never been tried."
The problem isn't the politicians, it's you. It's this word 'invasion'.
Why The World Doesn't Make Sense
If a country is being invaded you naturally go to your State to protect you. If they fail to protect you then you deem them incompetent.
But how can incompetence lead to civil servants calling up hotels and booking rooms for migrants? How can incompetence cause the navy to ferry boats to shore? Do you think the politicians accidentally send migrants your money? It's obviously intentional. They're your enemies, and have inverted the State's purpose.
So you replace the State with new people, a new party, and they too are your enemies. And the next one, and the next one. You conclude that every single person who has ever been publicly opposed to the flood of migrants was lying. You fall into conspiratorial and nihilistic thinking: only people pretending to oppose migration are 'allowed' to win by the secret powers that be, and there's no hope of ever stopping them so give up all hope.
(If that describes you then why are you even here? You believe nothing can be done, hence your presence in this space can only imply grifting. This essay is no longer for you, so stop reading.)
But back to the word invasion. What if I suggested the migrants weren't invading, but were being 'imported'? Would you disagree? In my experience people do. They say "All these corrupt politicians are importing them, but the public don't want them so for most people it's an invasion!" But that's where you're wrong.
If a politician stood for office on a platform of 'kill all migrants', maybe you think they'd get support. Maybe polling would show some secret swell of agreement. But as soon as they were in an interview or debate, and they got called racist, do you think they'd say "yes I am"? Of course they wouldn't, they'd crumble. They'd start panicking and claim they're an antiracist, and they'd start coming up with all these policies that prove they're an antiracist. More migration would follow.
Same question for the public. Maybe if there's an anonymous vote like Brexit the public would show what they really think, but as soon as a member of the public is asked to talk about their views and called a racist, do you think they'd hold firm or crumble? If a member of the civil service were getting ready to deport someone, and their boss called them a racist, would they hold or fold? If a police officer were asked to guard a deportation facility and a crowd or activists came and called him racist, would he feel as if these activists are crazy? Or would he feel that they themselves are evil and let the activists get away with whatever it is they're doing? The public would obviously crumble.
Because antiracism is the religion of the modern world. People who oppose migration think themselves bad people who are doing something evil because their backs are up against the wall. That's just not sustainable. People opposing migration can only do so if they feel they can 'get away' with it.
You yourself might be a proud racist (the definition of that word isn't even relevant because the word itself is what is stigmatised), but are most people? Will most people proudly declare themselves to be racists? Even the ones who secretly think of themselves as racist? Of course not.
For you the migrant flood might be an invasion, but for every antiracist (and racist who's too scared to say they're a racist), it's not an invasion. Their belief system requires them to import migrants. Their institutions have not been compromised, they themselves have been compromised. They too are inverted. Everyone in office is inverted, and everyone out of office is too.
But now I turn the spotlight onto you, you who use the word invasion to describe the migrant flooding. You too are inverted. For 99% of people it's not an invasion, it's the logical end result of their belief system. For 99% of people it's importing. If only 1% of people are openly racist, then their opinions are fringe. Their opinions aren't representative.
For you to describe the flood as an invasion is to put your personal opinion up on a pedestal, as if to say your opinion is the true opinion of society, and the 99% of other people are irrelevant. "I like sumo wrestling therefore we're a society that likes sumo wrestling." It's narcissism beyond belief. It's an inversion of reality.
Instead of acknowledging your opinion as fringe, you're taking the position that everyone else is wrong. Your only course of action is to try and convince the public to describe the migrants as invaders, which will never work because it's not true. You too are living in Upside Down World.
The Ultimate Point
The inversion is not contained to some institutions, it's so wide spread as to encompass everything and everyone. The politicians in power are inverted, but so are all the politicians running for office, so are any politicians who WILL run for office, and so are the general public: both the general public who are secretly racist and the public who are openly and proudly racist. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is upside down.
The problem isn't some incompetent politicians, it's the religious belief system underpinning our society. You can't save your society by hoping a tiny number of fringe psychos who proudly declare themselves to be evil somehow take over society. A skinhead down the pub is not Caesar.
Only when society is rigged in our favour can we win. As long as antiracism is the dominant religion, then expect more migrant floods. Only when you live in a society where those who import migrants are seen as evil and those who remove them are seen as good can you win. Society rewards what it deems good behaviour and discourages the bad. A moral system is a hill where good behaviour is at the bottom (so effortless to reach), and bad behaviour is at the top (so less likely to happen). Removing migrants must be at the bottom of the hill, not the top, else the masses and wannabe elites won't be able to make it to the end we desire.
The course of action you must take, if you want to fix the world, is recognise you're in Upside Down World, and leave it. Then you must create or enter a more stable reality, a truthful one. For the migrant flood example you must do one of two things: somehow convince people that racism is good and antiracism is evil; or convince people to reject the racism-antiracism dichotomy altogether, and convince them that framing the world as racism vs antiracism is itself evil.
If you keep electing new anti-migrant politicians, they'll just adhere to the religion of the society, antiracism. Any and all anti-migration policies will end up increasing the number of migrants.
Do you truly understand that? For emphasis: anti-migration politicians will increase migration, anti-migration policies will increase migration, members of the general public who claim to oppose migration will increase migration, and you yourself are increasing migration even though you're trying to oppose it.
Upside Down World isn't just about migration, but the migrant floods are a powerful illustration of the concept. Escape Upside Down World, or all hope is lost. Escape the simulation, else when it crashes you're going down with it. Escape the suicide cult before they make you drink the Kool-Aid, and take as many people with you.
